Application:
Soda Ash is primarily used to "treat out" soluble calcium ions coming from cement contamination or from penetrated anhydrite formations.
It is also removes soluble Magnesium ions, forming insoluble carbonates which have no adverse effects on the rheology or the chemical balance of drilling fluids.
